Capturing the Emotion

Emotions! This is one theme of which I have plenty of opportunities to capture. Working with youth was one of the reasons I felt compelled to work on and improve my photographing skills. I like capturing the happy moments and the action, and I still have to work on my technical skills, especially taking into consideration that most of the time there is very little light in our Youth Center and a lot of action. So blurry, dark pictures vs. overexposed flash photography is a constant struggle of choice for me.

Youth are emotional beings, they laugh and they cry, and most of the time their emotions are up front unlike the grownups of eastern culture of Taiwan. It is really fun photographing those happy moment though. So here are few of those moments, plus some other ‘emotions’ moments from my walks around the area that I live.
